Emotion - Fellini


Tri-dimensional canvas, emotion set in move, without a real beginning or conclusion, without motivation that we are used to read/see in films, almost careless. One step towards that carelessness in constructing a story would make Fellini clumsy, it would create what we are all afraid of – chaos of ideas, impressions and emotions.
He tends to `stretch` reality to the emotional point dangerous to average art consumer.
Fellini like other great artists knew the scary truth – life consists of unexpected things, it is moved, inspired and directed not by some order constructed in linear mind, not by habit and expectations, but by things that are excessive, extraordinary, unusual, hidden in subconscious, sublimed, shadowed and guarded in our "child" mind and early life experiences.
They threat to distort illusionary order we have created because we are afraid to see the nature of life - ever changing and thus incomprehensible, where plain, strong emotion and sexuality drive and govern all.

The only constant and consistent thing about life is our craving for that Emotion, for emotional actualization or liberation.

This craving for emotional and sexual satisfaction existed throughout the time and history, being a basis of all that is seen as universal in art. The means of reaching and fulfilling desires and emotional liberation are what we observe as historical movement and change. The real change, however, never occurs...
